GMCC Announces Open Artwork Search for 2017
Mystic Outdoor Art Festival Promotional Merchandise
Mystic, CT - January 23, 2017 - The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce announces that the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival Committee is in search of artwork for the 60th Annual Mystic Outdoor Art Festival’s promotional merchandise to be sold during the event scheduled for August 12-13, 2017.
Each year, the GMCC seeks out talented graphic artists from around the region to submit their artwork to be used for all promotional merchandise associated with the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival. Artwork submissions must capture the essence of summertime in Mystic, and follow the guidelines presented on the GMCC website.
All artwork submitted to the MOAF Committee becomes the property of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. Artists should submit their designs to Stephanie Healy, Marketing Manager for the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce no later than March 1, 2017. The chosen design may also be utilized for other promotional material related to the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce Outdoor Art Festival.
The art festival committee will review all entries, and make its final decision by April 30, 2017. For more information about art submission, review the specifications listed below. MOAF Promotional Artwork Specifications
Artwork that does not meet the specifications listed below will not be eligible for entry.
VECTOR ART: Please submit artwork in Adobe Illustrator vector format. Convert all text to outlines. Please save as an .eps or .ai file. Embed PMS colors when possible. Submitted files that are not a true .eps or .ai will not be recreated or accepted.
RASTER ART: Please submit photo or scanned artwork in .psd, .tif, or .jpeg formats. Image should be at least 300 dpi resolution or higher and the art "to size". Layered .psd files are strongly recommended.
