HOSPITALITY WORKSHOP - DATE TBD
This critical event will provide a series of training sessions on how to improve the customer experience within our local businesses. It will also include an opportunity to discuss ways to develop packages that encourage co-marketing of bundled products and services. This event is open to locals and visitors.
WELCOME CENTER GRAND OPENING - DATE TBD
We will be cutting the ribbon and opening the doors to our new Welcome Center at 62 Greenmanville Avenue. This event will kick off the tourism season for our business community. Our new home will be open to allow the public the chance to explore and get to know their local chamber and its loyal members.
60th ANNUAL MYSTIC OUTDOOR ART FESTIVAL - AUG. 12 & 13
The oldest festival of its kind in the Northeast, the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival attracts more than 85,000 people to our region during this two day event. This festival showcases more than 100,000 diverse pieces of fine art spread out over two miles in the heart of Historic Downtown Mystic. The event is free of charge to the public. There are activities for all ages, including a Children’s Art Park.

GROTON’S FALL FESTIVAL - OCT. 7
A variety of activities attract over 5,000 attendees from the community, including families, seniors and children. From 11am-5pm, visitors can enjoy great food, a farmers’ market, a craft and art show, business displays, Fire/EMS safety demonstrations & trucks, live music, and more... and it is all free to the public! The Groton Business Association is an affiliation of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and hosts this event.

MYSTIC RESTAURANT WEEK - NOV. 6-12
Consider sponsoring our area’s annual Restaurant Week, which celebrates everything culinary in the region! Participating restaurants offer specialty pricing for lunch and dinner throughout the entire week. This unique sponsorship opportunity features significant logo placement on check presenters, posters, table cards and more. (75,000+ impressions)
SANTA ARRIVES BY TUGBOAT & HOLIDAY LIGHTED BOAT PARADE - NOV. 25
Santa Claus is coming to town and so is Mystic’s Holiday Lighted Boat Parade in Historic Downtown Mystic. Thousands gather at the Mystic River Park to watch Santa arrive on a 60’ tug boat, the John Paul, and to listen to the wishes of children. After a brief break, festivities in the Park resume with the lighting of the Christmas tree and thousands of spectators then flood both sides of the Mystic River to see the decorated ships pass by. These holiday events have become beloved traditions in Mystic over the years-- don’t miss out on being part of the festivities by sponsoring our candy canes, parade and more! GROTON HOLIDAY LIGHTS PARADE – DEC. 2
A holiday event to kick off the season in downtown Groton. The parade includes local marching bands and businesses who spread the holiday spirit down Route 1. After the parade, Santa lights the holiday tree and the event continues with entertainment and holiday singalongs. The Groton Business Association is an affiliation of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and hosts this event.

ANNUAL MEETING - DEC. 7
This event draws business, civic and government officials to get the pulse of the region and discuss ways to improve our business environment. As a Chamber, we share the successes of 2017 and look forward to our goals for 2018.
